We visited with two small children and it was a dream. The private access to the river is truly the most attractive part of this place, combined with the equipment in the premises that we were able to borrow, this let us have an amazing time.

There’s kayaks, canoes, fire pit with firewood available, fishing rods, a card game. There’s lots to do, and on the night when we had clear skies, the stars were beautiful.

Aside from that, the place is clean, inviting, the kitchen had all the essentials (I even baked there). And Mark and Keirsa were always friendly and responsive.

The place was so comfortable.  Our group enjoyed our time there very much.  The location so close White Face was perfect.   The home was very clean and neat.  We loved the decor.    There were a couple of nice touches like coffee, filters and chocolate treats there when we arrived.  We would definitely stay with them again the next time we visit the area.

We went skiing at Whiteface and Keirsa's home was perfect for our stay. The kitchen had everything to allow us to cook. The bathroom was modern and clean. Bedrooms were confortable and the fireplace in the living room make the whole place cozy and relaxing.

Such a cozy, well appointed home! Our family skied at Whiteface for the weekend and appreciated how close Keirsa and Mark’s home was to the mountain! We will definitely be back!

Keirsa and Mark were amazing hosts!

They greeted us upon arrival and ensured we would have everything we needed to enjoy our home away from home.

Their home was clean, comfortable and the decor represented the beautiful Adirondack town they live in perfectly.

My other half and I wanted to catch a sunrise peak. We were 20 mins from the cascade trailhead. We hiked up to find one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen!

We plan to stay at Keirsa and Mark’s beautiful home anytime we visit Lake Placid.

We are so glad we found this place in the ADK for a beautiful peak fall foliage weekend! We typically stay in Lake Placid, but so glad we found this adorable cabin close to Whiteface. The drive to Lake Placid and all the Olympic venues is very picturesque. The place was very clean and looked exactly like the photos with everything looking brand new including the kitchen and bathroom. We appreciated the lake front property with access to the canoe and kayaks! What a beautiful place to go for a paddle with mountain views all around! Loved having a fire pit and grateful the hosts provided lots of kindling and wood. The grill and washer and dryer were all added amenities we appreciated as well. The hosts were both great at communication and answered all our questions prior to arriving and throughout our stay. We highly recommend and we definitely hope to return!

This place felt like a home away from home. Keirsa and Mark were very friendly and helpful. The whole trip went smoothly, the inside was immaculate better than expected. The kayaks they had for us to use was an unexpected bonus. All in all we will be going back during ski season.

My wife, my son and I came up for the weekend to explore the area and go fly fishing… and what a weekend we had!  The home has incredible access to the West branch of the Ausable with views of Whiteface Mt.  Launching the canoe was easy from their dock, and a quick paddle upstream gets you into solitude.  I witnessed a bald eagle cruising overhead to its nest, a beaver slapping the water, and I landed a beautiful brown trout all in one trip!  The home has been beautifully redone with all amenities, and tastefully captures the Adirondack vibe we were hoping for.  The bed was comfortable and the bedroom allowed space for our sons Pack-and-Play.  We cooked out on the grill and talked around the fire pit at night, definitely great for s’more’s!  The hosts were very responsive to anything that came up.  Our whole stay was very relaxing and it was great to enjoy the quiet of nature with all the luxuries of home.  We will definitely be coming back!

First, I want to say what excellent hosts Mark and Keirsa were. Very welcoming, helpful, and hospitable.

They have thought of everything that you need while staying at their beautiful home. We really bonded with this beautiful space. Not only is the home clean, cozy, and comfortable, but the waterfront property was breathtaking! The views of Whiteface and surrounding mountains along the river left us in awe. How sweet was it to paddle across the river using their canoe to find a beach and playground! This place is a mountain biker/cyclist/outdoor enthusiasts dream!!! The Wilmington Bike Park is less than 1 mile away along with the fort hardy and flume trails. This is perfect for families or just to get away for a quiet retreat. We visited Lake Placid 15mins away to have dinner and walk through the many shops and Olympic arena. Also, only a short 30mins away is the Ausable Chasm that we also visited to round out our lovely stay. I would give this better than 5 stars if I could!!!

We had such a magical stay at Keirsa and Mark’s place! It’s been recently renovated, so the place is immaculate. We headed up to the Adirondacks for the eclipse, and were more than comfortable. The beds are so comfy, and it’s very quiet - we slept amazingly (our 11 month old son even slept in!) It’s located at the end of a private road, tucked away yet close to town (about 1 mile walk). The private riverfront was very peaceful, we can’t wait to come back in the summer for some swimming or canoeing! Lastly, Keirsa and Mark were so kind and helpful. They seem to truly enjoy hosting, and were a delight to interact with. We will definitely be back!!
